A UNIQUE PLACE
The hot waters where discovered in
mid 18th century, when emigrants moved to inland areas of the country.
At that time, in 1722, Bartolomeu Bueno
da Silva discovered the thermal springs fthat formed Rio Quente, where today
is located the Rio Quente Resorts.
Located in the municipality of Rio
Quente, in the state of Goiás, next to Serra de Caldas, in an extensive green
area of 49,7 hectares teeming with woods and fully preserved native vegetetion,

On the banks of Rio Quente, the vegetation
is richer and denser- a typical vegetation of “Cerrado” - where tall Brazilian
hardwoods flourish, coloring the ecosystem at Rio Quente Resorts.
The resort has an extensive area of native vegetation, where different palm trees display their conspicuous clusters and leaves. Rio Quente Resorts, and specially Parque das Fontes (Springs Park), are a habitat of various wild bird species (toucans, doves, pigeons, passerine birds, canaries, partridges, parrots, humming birds, macaws, and more.). THE ORIGIN OF THE HOT WATERS
Now you will learn about the course
of the waters inside Serra de Caldas to form the Rio Quente. It begins when
the rain water penetrates rock fractures, seeping through the soil toward
the earth's core, heating up progressively up to 60°C (140°F) at 1,200 meters
below the surface. Once heated, the waters build up pressure and begin their
way up to the surface, while mixing with the water table and pleasantly cooling
in contact with the cold water, coming forth at the fabulous thermal springs
of Rio Quente Resorts at an average temperature of 37.5°C (98°F). It's a water
world aplenty. One of the greatest attractions of Rio Quente Resorts is the
constant renovation of all wates of the pools, thanks to the large volumes
of water rising from the main thermal springs.The volume of water produced
by the 18 springs results in a constant flow of 6.5 million liters (1.7 million
gallons) of hot water per hour, totaling more than 149 million liters (39
million gallons) every 24 hours. It's the largest hot water volume in the
world.That is the reason why Rio Quente Resorts is not just a resort, but
a magical and fascinating place that increasingly attracts visitors from Brazil
and all over the world.

New!! Now imagine what awaits you in the twenty thousand square meters of the newest Hot Park attractions. Two large slides going downhill through the pools and trees: Acqua River - the first equipment of its kind developed in Brazil, the first to use mats with protection for sliding, and the highest chute in the country. Three lanes take you down on floats from a height of 17.2 meters.
The second complex is Acqua Race, another three-lane attraction. The visitor slides down at 25 to 30 kph (15 to 18 mph). What was once excellent is now incredible!
Another must-go attraction of Hot Park is the ecological dive in a hot lake. Monitored and accompanied by professional divers, you can enjoy the thrill of scuba diving amid large local fishes, some up to 80 centimeters in length (2 ½ feet).

TURISMO HOTEL:
A HOSPITABLE, COMFORTABLE AND PEACEFUL HOTEL.
Specially designed for demanding guests who appreciate comfort and peacefulness associated with the magic of the place. One hundred and eighteen apartments and four deluxe suites. All apartments are provided with option for single or double beds, with color TV sets, conventional and cable TV, direct-dialing telephone, mini bar, air conditioning, and a safe. Electricity is 220 Volts. The suites are also provided with a sitting room with a lavabo, two TV sets, and special decoration.
Whatever you may need, Turismo Hotel will provide: 24-hour room service, beauty parlor, laundry, recorded message service, baby bottle room, baby pram, hair drier, and voltage transformer-just ask for. The facilities include a 24-hour coffee shop, gift shop, candy shop, fax, and copying service.
There is also a movie theater and a cozy convention room with capacity for 860 guests.
The international cuisine restaurant of Turismo Hotel has room for 200 people.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served, at a pleasant location, with a pool view.
POUSADA HOTEL:
THE PLACE WHERE EVERYTHING HAPPENS.
It's the ideal hotel for guests who appreciate being close to everything and everyone. It's the meeting point of relaxation. The building has 139 Standard apartments, 20 Garden apartments, 90 Family apartments, 2 apartments adapted for handicapped, and 8 Diamond suites.The apartments offer options for single and double beds, truckle beds, color TV sets, conventional and cable TV, mini bar, safe, direct-dialing telephone, and air conditioning.
Electricity is 220 Volts. The suites offer double beds, sitting room, mini bar, Jacuzzi, and lavabo.
Pousada Hotel has all that it takes for your comfort: 24-hour room service, fast food, gift shop, convenience store, laundry, fax, copying, photography, and video services, recorded message service, baby bottle room, baby carriage, hair drier, and voltage transformer-all you have to do is ask for.
The restaurant of the Pousada Hotel offers buffet service for breakfast, and a large and appetizing variety of salads, hot dishes, and desserts for lunch and dinner. From the restaurant you have the fascinating view of nature, which provides magical moments during your meals.
FLAT II
A MODERN WAY TO STAY.
This is a hotel with a modern and urban concept of lodging, which offers quality in its customized service, according to standards and services of an apartment hotel. Located near the entrance of the Resort, in a peaceful area where you can enjoy moments with your friends and family. There are 61 Duplex suites and 58 Family suites. All apartments provide options for double and truckle beds, plus color TV sets, conventional or cable TV, refrigerator, direct-dialing telephone, air conditioning, and ambient music in the rooms. Electricity is 220 Volts.
The restaurant of Flat II has a very unique feature: its charm. Its modern decoration provides a pleasant and beautiful environment. And for additional tranquility and convenience of our guests,Flat II has a hot water pool and a pool bar inside the hotel.
BANGALÔS VILLAGE:
PEACE AND QUIET NEXT TO NATURE.
Guests of Hotel look for extra tranquility and quietude. Ideal for those who peaceful locations quiet and appreciate being close to nature. It's a good option at reduced prices. There are 24 24 Cottages, 20 Apartament e 6 Bangallôs located 3.5 kilometers from the complex. It offers an optimum leisure option and the basic comfort of an apartment with telephone, mini bar, color TV set, air conditioning, and ambient music in the rooms. RIO QUENTE SUITE & FLAT
A MODERN OPTION WITH APARTHOTEL SERVICES.
Its main feature: modernity. Currently with 125 soft open apartments, it provides the following conveniences in the duplex suite first floor: 3 air conditioning devices, 20” TV, fridge, a sofabed, bathroom, kitchenette, a bedroom with king size bed, and single bed, double bed and bathroom in the loft. The “suite familia” has a living-room with 20” TV, fridge, twin bed, and a bedroom with double bed, bathroom and 2 air conditioning devices. It is located near the entrance of Rio Quente Resorts, and in addition to full board, guests may rely on free transportation in comfortable buses departing every 30 minutes to the complex. The hotel has a supporting network of shops, restaurant and convention room that accommodates upto 150 people.
OUR CONVENTIONS ARE NOT A BIT CONVENTIONAL
The Conventions Center of Rio Quente Resorts has a major characteristic: the combination of leisure and business. There is an increasing number of companies that their conventions, congresses, seminars, parties, banquets, and other events here. Our Conventions Center has modern and comfortable facilities with capacity for 860 people. For your convention to be complete, we offer special catering service to suit your event, and also set available open-air areas near the pools where your guests will be even more comfortable.

A CARD FOR CASH
At Rio Quente Resorts, there is no need for cash. Here, cash was replaced by a smart cart that is as good as cash and is used to pay all bills. A practical, small card that can be taken anywhere, in addition to being heat and moisture resistant. It makes easier to use the services and lets you control your expenses. You can get an updated bill statement at card readers installed around the Resort. This is an easier and safer way for our guests to take the most out of their stay without any worry.
